Abstract
Carpal tunnel syndrome is an upper limb entrapment neuropathy that can result in motor and sensory disturbance of the median nerve, affecting the hands. Treatment strategies may include the use of night splints, corticosteroid injections or surgical decompression. The aim of this article is to familiarise readers with carpal tunnel syndrome in relation to the relevant anatomy, signs, symptoms and management.Entities:
