Abstract
We report the F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) findings of a patient with a testicular Leydig cell tumor. A 43-year-old man was referred for whole body FDG PET/CT imaging for health care screening. FDG PET/CT imaging demonstrated the presence of a focal hypermetabolic lesion in the right testicle and no specific findings in other areas. Based on the preoperative impression, right testis-sparing surgery was attempted. The tumor was pathologically confirmed as a Leydig cell tumor.Entities:
