Abstract
A simple synthetic strategy has been developed for accessing internally functionalized dendrimers. The key feature of this approach is the use of two orthogonal and efficient reactions--'epoxy-amine' and 'thiol-ene' coupling--for rapid growth of the dendritic scaffold.
