Failure to immunize children under 5 years: a literature review.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide a critical review of the current literature related to immunization default in children under 5 years of age. The author has used a health belief model as the framework for analysis, examining each area in detail. The principle recommendations for practice are addressed and critically evaluated with a concluding summary of the main points raised and the author's recommendation for practice.
