Abstract
The reaction of H(2), R(3)SiH or R(2)SiH(2) with P(5)Ph(5) in the presence of stoichiometric B(C(6)F(5))(3) results in excellent yields of the phosphine-borane adducts (PhPH(2))B(C(6)F(5))(3), ((R(3)Si)PhPH)B(C(6)F(5))(3) and ((R(2)SiH)PhPH)B(C(6)F(5))(3), respectively.Entities:
