[Giant lipoma of the hand: case report and literature review].

S Fnini1, J Hassoune, A Garche, M Rahmi, A Largab.

Abstract

Giant lipoma of the hand is rare. The diagnosis is based on a clinical tumor and acroparesthesia from compression of the median and ulnar nerves. The MRI is the best exam to study local extension. Fibrolipoma of the median nerve and low-grade liposarcoma are the principal differential diagnoses. Copyright 2009 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
