Abstract
We have described a patient with a very rare case of distal tibial epiphyseal AVN after a severe fracture. This patient subsequently had complete asymptomatic revascularization and closure of the epiphyseal plate without deformity. Practitioners should be aware, however, that in younger persons a similar lesion can lead to premature closure of the plate and resultant deformity.Entities:
