Transapical deployment of endovascular thoracic aortic stent graft for an ascending aortic pseudoaneurysm.

Abstract

We report a case of a patient with a history of previous coronary artery bypass grafting undergoing endovascular aortic repair of a large pseudoaneurysm in the ascending aorta. Due to the limitations of the current technology, the endograft was deployed through a left ventricular transapical approach by using a left mini-thoracotomy. 2010 The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
