Invasive thymoma with endobronchial metastasis.

Stewart M Benton1, Raford P Rogers, Carolyn E Reed.

Abstract

Endobronchial thymoma is an exceedingly rare presentation. We report a 70-year-old woman undergoing bronchoscopy for dyspnea and a computed tomographic scan believed to be most consistent with a right lower lobe neoplasm. Thoracoscopy was ultimately required for diagnosis. 2010 The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Published by Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
