[Nursing in stomatherapy: clinical care for the patient with varicose ulcer].

Review study that aimed at analyzing the nursing scientific production about varicose ulcer in the period from 2002 to 2007. For the data collection it was used Medline and LILACS databases. Twenty-five materials were found in seven national and international journals. It was demonstrated that scientific production approach several issues and there is a need for studies on the humanistic issues. It was concluded that the care of varocose ulcers is expressed in some aspects in nursing research, but that the matter is still poorly researched and that there is little qualitative research that address this content.
