Pyoderma gangrenosum: from misdiagnosis to recognition, a personal perspective.

Abstract

Successful treatment of pyoderma gangrenosum depends on prompt diagnosis. Here, a patient describes how an inaccurate diagnosis resulted in severe pain and delayed treatment, with a markedly negative effect on quality of life.
