Exposure characteristics of thin window cathode ray tubes on electrofax papers.

Writing tests were made on commercial Electrofax paper using an all glass thin window cathode ray tube. Developed line widths from 5 mil to 15 mil could be obtained by varying beam current. Writing speeds of up to 790,000 in./sec were achieved. Electron beam current appeared to vary linearly with writing speed.
