Abstract

We report a 46-year-old male with metastatic functioning paraganglioma of the thoracic spine. Thoracic spine functioning paragangliomas are rare and we describe the benefits of embolisation of the lesion prior to surgical decompression. Crown Copyright 2009. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
