Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the perceived stressors experienced by parents who care for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. The relationship between demographics and overall stress was also examined. The most frequently cited stressor was difficulty arranging for and collaborating with professional and support services. Problems associated with the child's emotional and mental state were viewed as the most stressful of all. No demographic variables showed a significant relationship to degree of overall stress.Entities:
