A case of the nasal cavity fungus ball.

Kyung Soo Kim, Hyun Jik Kim.

Abstract

Fungus balls in the nasal cavity are an extremely rare finding. We described a case of the fungus ball in the nasal cavity of a 61-year-old man, which was successfully removed by endoscopic sinus surgery. To the best of our knowledge, this report is the third case in the English literature. In addition, we propose the diagnosis of the 'nasal cavity fungus ball'.
