Abstract
Dysautonomia is commonly observed in Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). However, hypotension is rarely a presenting and persisting symptom. A man with orthostatic hypotension progressively suffered with distal sensory disturbance, weakness in limbs, and persisting paralytic ileus. Dr Liu et al. made the diagnosis of GBS and successfully treated him with intravenous immunoglobulin. Chronic alcoholism might underlie this atypical course.Entities:
