Anomalous Medial Rectus Muscle Insertion in a Patient with Nonrefractive Comitant Esotropia.

Jun Ho Choi, Chang Hyun Park, So Young Kim.

Abstract

An 8-year-old girl with nonrefractive comitant estropia revealed the abnormal insertion of the medial rectus muscle during muscle recession surgery. Strabismus surgeons should be aware of the possibility that anomalous muscles can cause unusual types of strabismus. Copyright 2009, SLACK Incorporated.
