Abstract
Closed chest massage can be a lifesaving act. Performed incorrectly or by untrained individuals it can lead to life-threatening complications. Successful recognition and treatment of a lacerated spleen secondary to cardiopulmonary resuscitation is reported. All patients surviving CPR should be screened for potential complications.Entities:
