A Ring1, V Gelis, C Klupsch, J Stern.

Abstract

De Garengeot hernia is an extremely rare pathological finding. Here, we report the case of a 69-year-old woman who presented with acute appendicitis within a femoral hernia. Although exceptionally rare, the clinician needs to be aware of this variation in order to avoid complications arising due to delays in diagnosis and therapy. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart-New York.
