Abstract
Restoration of the continuity of the intestinal tract is one of the key concepts for maintaining the quality of life in patients with Crohn's disease. Restorative procedures have an important role in the scope of operative modalities for these patients. The authors review operative options aimed at fulfilling these goals including restorative partial small bowel resection; segmental, subtotal, and total colectomies; and ileal pouch anal anastomosis in patients with Crohn's disease.Entities:
