Exercise Training Schedule
| Weeks | Light | Moderate | Hard | Very Hard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-3 | 20% (6 min) | 60% (18 min) | 20% (6 min) | 0% |
| 4-6 | 15% (6 min) | 55% (22 min) | 30% (12 min) | 0% |
Percent time spent at a given exercise training intensity (% peak VO2) for exercise group (approximate minutes at each intensity are in parenthesis). Values expressed in the table are a percentage of the total workout time (e.g., 10 min of a 30 minute workout = 33%). Total exercise time begins at 30 minutes and increases by 5 minutes every two weeks until 40 minutes is achieved while supervised.
