Abstract
We describe the case of a monocular 72-year-old man who presented with spontaneous acute visual decrease in the left eye 2 years after uneventful phacoemulsification with intraocular lens (IOL) and standard capsular tension ring (CTR) implantation. Dilated fundoscopy revealed aphakia and complete vitreous luxation of the entire capsular bag-IOL-CTR complex.Entities:
