Abstract
Pyomyositis, a subacute bacterial infection of muscles, is uncommon in children. Three children with pyomyositis and multiple abscesses caused by Staphylococcus aureus are reported. The intercostal muscles were involved in one case, the paraspinal muscles in another and in the third there was associated septic arthritis.Entities:
