Abstract
Complicated skin and soft tissue infection caused by a chicken scratch has rarely been reported. A 3-year-old boy who developed haemorrhagic bullae and necrotising fasciitis following a chicken scratch is reported. Morganella morganii and enterococci were cultured from the aspirate. He received antimicrobial treatment, surgical debridement and a skin graft, and recovered uneventfully.Entities:
