Abstract
Marchiafava-Bignami disease (MBD), a rare disorder most commonly seen in patients with a history of alcohol consumption, involves progressive demyelination and subsequent necrosis of the corpus callosum. Because clinical signs are nonspecific, the role of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging is essential to confirm the diagnosis. Early diagnosis with imaging and prompt treatment may improve the prognosis of MBD.Entities:
