Abstract
In a sample of 162 Kuwaiti undergraduates (33 men, 129 women; M age = 20.1 yr., SD = 1.9), self-ratings of happiness were significantly and positively correlated with self-ratings of religiosity and strength of religious belief as well as scores on Hoge's Scale of Intrinsic Religious Motivation (1972). The present data provide evidence that, among a sample of Kuwaiti Muslim undergraduates, religious people are happier.Entities:
