Abstract
The new triterpene glycoside 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosylhederagenin 28-O-beta-D-gluco-pyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside, named septemoside A (1), and the known 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside-28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester of hederagenin (2), were isolated from the bark of Kalopanax septemlobus. The structure elucidation of the compounds was based on spectroscopic evidence, including HRESIMS, 1D and 2D-NMR analysis.Entities:
