Abstract
2-Aryl-3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl and 1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-1H-indole derivatives were synthesized and tested for their in-vitro antifungal and antimycobacterial activities. These indole derivatives were devoid of antifungal activity against the tested strains of Candida spp. Yet, they exhibited an interesting antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis reference strain H(37)Rv.Entities:
