Abstract
The correct clinical use of topographic EEG analysis is labor intensive, time consuming and does not bypass the problems involved in conventional EEG interpretations. The physician interpreting maps needs not only to be fully cognizant of all the aspects of clinical electroencephalography but also of the special issues inherent in this methodology. Certain problems that are specific to topographic EEG analysis and that can lead to wrong interpretations are presented.Mesh:
