Abstract
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer mortality in the United States. The median age of diagnosis is 69 years and the number of elderly patients with lung cancer is expected to increase as this segment of the population increases. This review article describes surgical resection, rationale for adjuvant therapy, and the role of molecular markers in this growing patient population.Entities:
