Improved left ventricular filling following bilateral renal artery stenting.

Constantina Chrysochou, Rajan Sharma, Philip A Kalra, Paul R Kalra.

Abstract

This case illustrates the intimate relation between renal and cardiac physiology. Renal revascularization of bilateral renal artery stenosis was associated with reduction in LV filling pressures without change in blood pressure or medication, most likely reflecting alteration in neurohormonal activation.
