Analytical techniques for characterizing enzymatic biofuel cells.

Michael J Moehlenbrock1, Robert L Arechederra, Kyle H Sjöholm, Shelley D Minteer.

Abstract

Enzymatic biofuel cells, which replace expensive metal catalysts with enzymes, are still in an early stage of development. This article details the analytical techniques that are often employed for evaluating and characterizing enzymatic biofuel cells and their corresponding bioanodes and biocathodes.
