Abstract
In some patients the size and location of the incisive canal may affect treatment planning in the mandible. This case report addresses management of a patient with a large incisive canal, which prevented placement of a dental implant in the intraforaminal area of the mandible. Relevant anatomy is reviewed, treatment considerations are outlined, and potential consequences of inappropriate therapy in similar patients are discussed.Entities:
