Abstract
The filterable agent transmitting leucosis resists drying, retaining its activity for at least 54 days. The conditions of successful desiccation have not been precisely ascertained. By the addition of glycerin the agent can be preserved for at least 104 days. It is not inactivated by freezing in liquid air. At 37.5 degrees C. it loses its activity within 14 days, but retains some of its activity for at least 14 days when kept at 4 degrees C.Entities:
