Abstract
In the occasional cases of pneumonia which show a decrease in the oxygen capacity of the blood, the decrease is probably due to a formation of methemoglobin. The latter is removed from the circulation, however, as rapidly as it is formed, so that it can seldom be detected even qualitatively, and is probably never a cause of cyanosis.Entities:
