Abstract
1. Oleate hemoglobin agar is a good selective culture medium for Bacillus influenzae. 2. Bacillus influenzae has been cultivated from the mouth of 93 per cent of cases of influenza and bronchopneumonia. 3. Bacillus influenzae was present at the time of this study in the mouths of 43 per cent of normal individuals. 4. The types of pneumococci found associated with the complicating bronchopneumonias of influenza are the types which are usually found in normal mouths.Entities:
