Abstract
A signal propagating along a dispersive transmission line in which loss is compensated by semiconductor amplifiers suffers from strong memory effects induced by the amplifier saturation. Insertion of filters along a line of anomalous dispersion reduces the detrimental effects of the amplifier saturation.Year: 1995 PMID: 19862101 DOI: 10.1364/ol.20.001616
