Abstract
Peripheral nerve disorders are a common complication in HIV patients, reaching 15% of them. Several patterns and aetiologies have been described, being lumbosacral poliradiculoneuropathy one of them. We describe an HIV-1-infected patient who developed lumbosacral poliradiculoneuropathy caused by Human herpesvirus 2 and review the literature about this uncommon condition.Entities:
