Abstract

Pure ankle dislocation without fracture is a very rare injury in children. We report the case of a 9-year-old patient who sustained open medial dislocation of the tibiotalar joint without fracture. The management, contributive factors, and long-term results are reported with a review of the literature. 2009 Published by Elsevier Masson SAS.
