Trigeminal intraoral schwannomas.

W Colin1.

Abstract

This article clinically and histologically details four cases of schwannoma presenting in uncommon intraoral locations. The diagnosis and conservative management of these benign, encapsulated lesions are discussed. The association of intraoral schwannomas with multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome 111 (MENS 111) and the need to rule out neurofibromatosis are noted.
