Abstract
We conducted a prospective longitudinal study evaluating Candida skin testing among international adoptees presenting to our clinic between 2000 and 2006. Nineteen (17%) and 17 (15%) children had negative tests at presentation and at 6 months, respectively--only 3 were negative at both points. Our study suggests that Candida skin test reactivity is an unstable measure of anergy among international adoptees.Entities:
