Abstract

In this issue of Molecular Cell, Lee et al. (2009) report that SUMOylation of nuclear receptors LXRalpha and LXRbeta plays a critical role in the transrepression of IFN-gamma-induced STAT1-dependent inflammatory responses in brain astrocytes.
