Abstract
Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease that primarily affects the lung and other organs. Patients with dactylitis should be screened for abnormalities of the skin, eyes and lungs. Even in patients with normal-range ACE sarcoidosis could be confirmed by tissue biopsy. Treatment with methotrexate and steroids can relieve symptoms and stabilize the disease. In refractory cases leflunomide, azathioprine, hydroxychloroquine or antibodies against TNF-alpha can be additionally administered.Entities:
