Abstract
We evaluate the merits of routine waist circumference measurements for screening of impaired fasting glucose (IFG). Waist circumference and body mass index showed a strong association with the risk of IFG. The present data indicate the need for routine anthropometric measurements in clinical practice screening for IFG.Entities:
