Developing an outreach service in adolescent mental health to improve engagement.

An adolescent mental health team developed an outreach service to improve access to services for vulnerable young people, many of whom do not normally access treatment. This article explores ways of engaging with this group, combining an outreach approach and other styles of work such as the cycle of change and motivational work.
