Abstract
An 80-year-old man was admitted to hospital because of haematuria. Intravenous urography verified a right-sided kidney tumour. Histological examination showed renal cell carcinoma of the clear cell type. Renal cell carcinoma is known to metastasize many years after primary tumour detection and surgical treatment. Ultrasound examination after 1 year revealed a polypoid gallbladder mass. Immunohistochemical examination confirmed the metastasis diagnosis originating from the primary kidney tumour.Entities:
