Lymphatic obstruction as a cause of extremity edema in systemic lupus erythematosus.

Abstract

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystem disease of autoimmune origin. Lymphedema is a very uncommon entity and has not been previously documented in SLE. We report lymphatic obstruction involving all four limbs as a cause of extremity edema in a patient with SLE.
