[Giant cutaneous horn on head--case report].

Abstract

A female patient with a large cutaneous horn was reported. The excrescence formed a 19 cm long spiral resembling a ram's horn. Authors recollected the basic information on aetiology of skin lesions with excrescence like cutaneous horn, and the principles of surgical treatment of such cases. In this case horn was excised along with a margin of skin. Skin edges were mobilized and sutured without a need of plastic surgery Healing by first intention was gained.
