Abstract
Infected aneurysms of the extracranial carotid arteries are rare. This is a case report of a 63-year-old female who developed an infected internal carotid artery aneurysm due to group B Streptococcus ten days after a dental procedure. She was successfully treated with excision of the aneurysm and common to internal carotid artery bypass with greater saphenous vein.Entities:
