Abstract
We present a rare case of a metastasis to a pituitary adenoma and review 14 cases published in the literature to date. Metastases to pituitary adenomas most commonly present with rapidly progressing chiasm compression syndromes, headaches and oculomotor nerve palsies. The prognosis for this condition is poor. Metastases to pituitary adenomas have to be considered in the differential diagnosis of sellar tumors. Georg Thieme Verlag KG Stuttgart New York.Entities:
